Warwick town centre has some of the oldest housing stock we deal with anywhere in the area, with Georgian and timber framed buildings close to the castle and the historic core, many of them listed and within the town's conservation area. Roofing work here is careful, often slower than a standard job, and needs the right materials from the start.

Away from the centre, in Woodloes and Warwick Gates, the housing is much newer, built from the 1970s through to recent new build phases, with straightforward tile roofs that are generally quicker and simpler to repair or replace. We also cover Hampton Magna, Budbrooke and the villages around Warwick.

Warwick sees its share of wind and rain coming across open farmland to the west, and we regularly get called out for storm damage, slipped tiles and blocked gutters after bad weather, alongside the more specialist repair work on the older buildings in the town centre.

Central Warwick, particularly around the castle and the historic streets like Jury Street and Church Street, has Georgian and older timber framed buildings, many of them listed. Roofs here are often clay tile or slate, sometimes with complex valleys and multiple chimneys, and any work needs listed building consent where the property is listed, plus materials that match what is already there.

Around Woodloes, Hampton Magna and Warwick Gates the housing is much more modern, largely 1970s onwards through to current new build estates, with concrete or interlocking clay tiles that are straightforward to source and replace. These roofs are usually simpler in shape and quicker to work on than the town centre properties.

Warwickshire brick is common throughout the older parts of town, often paired with clay tile roofs that suit the local character, and where we do re-roof an older Warwick property we try to keep that same look rather than switching to a modern tile that would stand out.
